WHAT PARENTS WANT TO KNOW
Marsupi sits on the wearer’s waist and not on the hips. Marsupi’s sizes are based on the parent’s measurements and not the baby’s. Measure the waist of both parents in order to figure out your size:
S/M fits waists between 65 and 100 cm.
L fits waists between 75 and 105 cm
XL fits waists between 85 and 120 cm
XXL fits waists between 100 și 135 cm
For newborns (*3.5 kg) the front carry position is recommended. Once they get a little bigger (at least 4 months old) you can wear them on the side as well.
We do not recommend wearing your baby facing outwards, with the back to its parents, as it is no longer ergonomic and does not support the hips as well. If you’d like to offer your child a better view, try the side carry.
We recommend using Marsupi with babies between 3.5 and 15 kg, the CEN / TR 16512: 2015 standard.
Under *3.5 kg, consult your paediatrician or a babywearing specialist.
Marsupi can be useful with toddlers too, like when they get tired on a hike and need a break.
